Root Beer Float Pie
What you need:
- 3/4 cup good quality root beer
- 1/2 milk
- 1 box instant vanilla pudding mix (4-serving size)
- 1 to 2 Tbsp. root beer extract
- 1 tub (8 oz.) Cool Whip, thawed
- 1 prepared graham cracker crust
- Maraschino cherries, for garnish
- Whipped cream, for garnish
Directions:
- In a large bowl, whisk root beer, milk, root beer extract, and pudding mix for 2 minutes or until it thickens.
- Fold in Cool Whip until mixture is the same consistency and combined.
- Pour into the graham cracker crust and even out with a spatula.
- Freeze for about 8 hours or overnight.
- Serve garnished with whipped cream and cherries.
- Store leftover pie in the freezer.
