Crockpot Cajun Ham and 15 Bean Soup

What you need:

    • 1 bag (20 oz.) Hurst Hambeens Cajun 15 Bean Soup, rinsed and drained, seasoning packet set aside
    • 8 cups chicken broth
    • 1 lb. diced ham
    • 1 onion, diced
    • 1 clove minced garlic
    • 1 tsp. chili powder
    • 1 can (15 oz.) diced tomatoes
    • Juice of 1 lemon
    • Hot sauce

Directions:

    1. Place beans, broth, ham, onion, garlic, and chili powder in the Crockpot.
    2. Cook on HIGH for 5 hours or LOW for 7 to 8 hours -- or until beans are tender.
    3. Then add tomatoes, seasoning packet, and lemon juice.
    4. Cook for 30 more minutes.
