County Intermediate Final:

Jubilant celebrations were in order last Sunday in Semlpe Stadium on a great historic occasion when Captain David Hickey lifted the Jacksie Ryan Cup on behalf of the Intermediate hurlers, It was a tense game right up to the final whistle with Ballina leading by a point with two minutes of added injury time, Moyne-Templetouhy were awarded a free and were denied the equalising point in the dying moments of the game when it hit the post..There was much relief when the game ended with the next puckout.. Ballina 3-12 to Moyne Templetouhy 0-20. Well done to the team and team management on the clubs first county Intermediate title which will now bring the club up to the ranks of senior hurling in 2014.
