U12 Hurlers: Hard luck to Ballina team who were defeated by Nenagh
Eire Og, in the North Tipperary U12 A championship last Wednesday
evening. In a close game Nenagh won by a point. Well done to the boys
and there coaches for getting so far and the best of luck to Nenagh
Eire Og in the remainder of the championship.
Local Lotto: No winner of last weeks weekly jackpot which now stands
at €13,000. Tickets €2 and may be purchased in all local shops,
bars,club officers and on line at www.locallotto.ie. Thank you for

Minor A Hurling: Hard luck to the minor hurlers who were defeated by
Kilruane last Friday night in Kildangan Ballina 4-08 to Kilruane
4-12. They now play Borrisoleigh this week in the their fourth game of
the championship [see fixtures]
Predictors Quiz: The three present leaders on our annual Sports
Predictors quiz after sixteen events are 1:Robert Fitzpatrick, 2:

Cul Camp: Will be taking place in the field all this week from 10PM
until 2-30PM. O
U21 County Hurling: Hard luck to Michael Breen and the U21 hurlers on
their defeat against Clare last Wednesday evening in Cusack Park after
extra time.
Bike for Ballina: A big thank you to all players who returned their
sponsorship cards for the event in conjunction with the local
Alzheimer's respite care Waterman's lodge. Your support was very much
appreciated.
Golf classic: Club golf classic will take place in the East Clare Golf
club for the senior training fund. Commencing Friday August 1st at
2-30PM-3-30PM & 4-30PM-5-30PM. August 2nd at 9-20AM to 10-20AM &
12-30PM -3-30PM. Cost €120 per team. Hole sponsors €100 or €50 per
half hole.1st prize: Round of golf in Mount Juliet Golf club and
winners trophy. Entertainment and raffle in Molly's Bar on Saturday
August 2nd.
