The Darkness into Light walk in aid of Pieta House takes place this Saturday morning starting and finishing in Ballina GAA Club, crossing the Shannon/county boundary into Killaloe. There are 2 other venues in Tipperary (Cashel & Roscrea) & 4 other venues in Clare (Ennis, Shannon, Miltown/Malbay & Kilrush), with Limerick city the next closest venue. This is probably the only one across two counties.

Upwards of 400 people are expected to take part beginning at 4.15 am. On Friday evening a small marquee is being put up in the grounds and there will be some preparations being done in the clubhouse & some restrictions to car parking.
