This weeks notes include: Club Meeting; Community; Lotto Results; Juvenile Notes: U6s & U8s, U12s, U14s, Schools, Cul Camp; Senior Notes: Senior Hurling, Junior “B” & Minor Hurling, Tipperary in Ballina, Inter-County, Tickets - Tipperary v’s Limerick, Tipperary Club Draw.
Club Meeting
There will be a general meeting of the club on Friday 12th June. This will be the first in a new series of Quarterly General meetings in the club. All members are invited to attend. More information to follow on Facebook.
Community
Best of luck to all members of the club who are currently sitting the Junior and Leaving Cert exams.
Wishing the boys and girls from Ballina National School who receive their 1st Holy Communion on Sunday next a wonderful day.
Lotto Results
No winner of the lotto last week. Numbers drawn were 10, 17, 20, 21.

Juvenile Notes:
U6s & U8s
The U6 and U8 groups have played in several games in the past few weeks against local opposition. Their skill level continues to improve with every game. Well done to all the boys and their coaches.
U12s
Great performance by both groups in Round 1 who played at home against Moneygall last Friday 5th June. Group B team drew and the Group D team won.
Second round Monday 8th June v Kilruane MacDonaghs in B and Nenagh in D (no results when going to print).
U14s
The U14s played their opening Championship game on Tuesday 9th June against Roscrea in Ballina (no results when going to print).
Away game to Kildangan this Saturday, 13th June. Good luck to the boys!
Schools
Fantastic performance by the Ballina NS boys in the North Tipp Schools Hurling Final last Thursday. After a hard battle, Kilruane managed to get one point ahead and were the winners on the day. Final Score Ballina NS 0-8, Kilruane 1-6.
Cul Camp
On line booking is now open for this year’s Cúl Camp which takes place from Monday July 13th, to Friday July 17th. Alternatively you can book with Ronnie Power Juvenile Club Secretary.
Senior Notes:
Senior Hurling
County League semi-final v’s JK Brackens will be held in Nenagh on Friday 19th June. North SHC Quarter Final most likely Weekend 27th/28th June. Please come along and support!
Junior “B” & Minor Hurling:
The Championship is expected to start shortly and a big effort will be required to overturn some poor league results.
Tipperary in Ballina
Thanks to the players & management of the Tipperary Hurlers and Camogie teams who visited Ballina last Monday the 1st June and Thursday 4th respectively. Players were very patient on both days signing autographs & posing for photos.
Inter-County
Congratulations to our own Steven O'Brien who was last week's GAA.ie Footballer of the Week. Steven finished ahead of Bernard Brogan (Dublin) and Ryan Jones (Fermanagh) in the vote, which takes place on the GAA's official Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages.
Best wishes to Steven and the Tipperary Senior Footballers in their Munster Senior Football Championship semi-final against Kerry on Sunday in Thurles.
Good luck to Tipperary Junior Footballers who also play Kerry in the Munster semi-final. We hope a good following from the club will attend in Semple Stadium and help push Tipperary across the line.
Tickets - Tipperary v’s Limerick
Please place your orders for Tipperary v Limerick Munster Senior Hurlers with any club officers before the weekend. There are family/Juvenile tickets for this game. Tickets can also be purchased on-line. This year the club is looking for a €5 deposit for each ticket ordered.
Tipperary Club Draw
Thanks to all our promoters and subscribers who once again have made this a successful event for the club. Unfortunately we had no winners in the opening draw, but we have no doubt this will change in the coming months.
