News Update 27th January 2014

AGM: The annual general meeting of the club took place last Friday night. Peter King resigned his post as assistant chairperson, all other positions in the club remained the same and all officers were re-elected.

Presentation of Senior club medals: Will take place in the Lakeside Hotel on 15th Feb. More details next week.

Juvenile AGM: The annual general meeting of the juvenile club will take place this Thursday night in the clubhouse,all parent,guardians,and coaches are encouraged to attend.

Players Training Fund: Cards will be distributed in the coming week to all players, a draw will take place for trailer load of timber. Each player will be given one card to fill.

All County Quiz: The county board will host the 2014 All County Quiz on Feb 21st. General knowledge questions will be asked live on Tipp FM and every club will be expected to organise a venue and participate in the quiz. The winner from each venue will go forward to the county final in the Dome Friday March 15th.

Ballina Camogie: Presentation night will take place Friday Jan 31st at 8pm. Presentation for players of the year from U10- U16.

Camogie AGM: The annual general meeting will take place in the clubhouse Jan 27th at 8pm.

Congratulations: Jessica Ryan and Christina Hayes Ballina camogie players, who were part of the team from St Mary's secondary school Newport who won Munster school final on Saturday,well done girls.

Primary schools Munster Final: Well done to Amy Mc Keogh and Grainne O'Brien who won U11 Munster Title in Tralee. Also well done to Isabel Farnane and Siobhain Prentice who won silver medal in the U13 final.
