This weeks notes include: Juvenile Club: U6/ U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, Cul Camp; Senior Club: Senior Hurlers, Minor Hurlers, Junior B Hurlers

Juvenile Cub Notes

U6/ U8

The U6s continue to train on Sat morning and Wednesday evenings. They plan some more matches for the coming weeks.

The U8s will play Nenagh Eire Og next Saturday.

U10

The U8s/U9s played played Newport last week and played very well. The U8s take part in the Feile Brian Boru tournament this coming weekend and will look to retain the trophy they won last year .Best of luck lads.!

The U10s will play Silvermines this Thursday night.

U12

The U12 Group B team had a bye last Friday night. The Group D team travelled to Puckane and had a comprehensive win there over Kildangan.

This Friday July 3rd Group B play Lorrha in Lorrha while Group D are at home to Silvermines at 7pm.

Best of luck to both teams.

U14

U14s had Kildangan at home on Wed 24th June. They put in a battling performance but ultimately Kildangan were too strong for them .

The are at home this Wednesday at 7.30pm to Nenagh Eire Og.

Please come down to the field and give these young players your support.

U16

The U16s began their hurling championship on Monday 29th with a game away to Templederry.

They play Burgess in Ballina on July 6th.

Cul Camp

Cul Camp takes place on July 13th to 17th and is open to all boys and girls of primary school age. It is filling up fast so book online at Kelloggs GAA Cul Camps or with Ronnie Power.

it has been confirmed that Tipp star Shane Mc Grath will host a training camp on July 28th, 29th and 30th from 10am to 1pm. This camp is for boys older than Cul Camp age (Boys born in 2003 or older). Places are limited so contact Eamon Power or Ronnie Power to book your place.

Senior Club.

Senior Hurling

The Senior Hurlers bowed out of the North Senior Championship on Saturday night in Nenagh when they lost to Templederry.This was s a very close game all through with the teams matching each other point for point for long periods of the game., both teams hitting a high number of wides in difficult wind conditions. ( see full match report) Well done to the Senior panel and their Management team.

The Seniors now await a Holohan cup league final .

Minor Hurling

The Minor hurlers began their Championship with an away game to Lorrha last Thursday and play Borrisokane at home this Thursday.The Club extend best wishes to Paddy O'Donovan who was injured in this game.

Junior Hurling

The Junior B s play Shannon Rovers in their first championship outing (see fixtures for details).
