The club would like to congratualate the Tipperary Minors for their drawn match with Dublin on Sunday, especially Mickey Breen and Stephen O'Brien from the Ballina club who continue to put in great performances for Tipp. Well done and best of luck in the replay.

Congratulations to Ballina under 16s who are through to North semi-finals topping the group. No fixture dates are available as there is a playoff for the final three places. Please support the boys as a lot of hard work and commitment has been put in by this group of very dedicated hurlers.Our U 14s are away to Borris/Illeigh on Wed night in the plate

Three members of our juvenile club have represented the club at county level in tournaments in the past two weeks.

Conor Maguire u16 county tipperary developement squad in the All Ireland u16 hurling sponsored by the Tipperary Supportes club.

In the Tony Forristal under 14 All Ireland tournament David Kelly and Thomas Mc Grath represented the club.

Well done to these three players, in time hopefully they will follow in the footsteps of Michael Breen and Stephen O Brien representing our club at minor and senior level.

Congratulation to Clare Maguire who was chosen as player of the week by Allianz Cumann na mBunscol.

The juvenile club's showcase event is the John Joe Nevin tournament for U10 boys which is on next Sunday 16th Sept. This year Ballina will again enter 2 teams in the competition and will take on teams from 4 counties. NewtownShandrom from Cork, Ahane from Limerick, our neighbours Killaloe from Clare and also Kilruane will take part. We expect a very exciting competitions and a very high skill level for this age group. Ballina will be hoping to retain the trophy after winning it last year. Come on down to support the lads,
