Juvenile Notes:
U10s
The U10 boys were invited to a blitz in Clonlara on Saturday afternoon last. A great afternoon’s hurling was had by all. Thanks to Clonlara for the invitation and the hospitality.
U14s
The U14s game v’s Silvermines planned for last weekend was deferred.
They play next weekend.
Winter Training
The first of our winter training sessions took place on Saturday. There was a great turn out of boys for the session.
Best Wishes
Best wishes to Sam Loughran, Mark Lyons, Josh Egan and Jason Gleeson as they recover from recent injuries.
Senior Notes:
Junior Football:
Ballina have advanced to the semi-finals of the County Junior "A" Football Championship. Thurles Sarsfield’s heavy schedule of Senior Hurling, Intermediate Hurling and Junior "A" Hurling over the last few weeks/coming weeks meant that they were unable to field against us on Sunday last, 4th October, in Dolla.
We expect a county semi-final this weekend. Check fixtures for details - Emly, Golden/Kilfeacle and Gortnahoe/Glengoole are the other sides in the semi-finals.
Under-21 Hurling:
We expect to have a fixture (against Kilruane MacDonaghs) shortly.
