Congratulations

To Stephen O Brien who gave a splendid display at centre field in Tipperary's All-Ireland Semi-Final against a determined Roscommon team, despite incurring a shoulder injury early in the 2nd half, he managed to finish the game, hopefully he will be fully fit for the final on the 18th of September.

All Ireland Hurling Final

Tickets for the Hurling Final will be distributed in the Complex next Friday 26th Aug. @ 9.30pm . As tickets are scarce, a draw among members will be held,we would appeal to those who require tickets

to attend on the night.

Will be held Sunday 28th August for the 2 precious All Ireland tickets and an overnight stay in a Dublin hotel, tickets can be purchased ON OUR WEBSITE, in most local business outlets, or from any officer in the club, for just €2 you could land yourself and a friend this valuable prize.

Intermediate Hurlers

Had 4 poimts to spare in their defeat of Clonakenny in the semi-final of the County league which was played in Dolla on Sat. evening last, they now await the winners of the other semi-final between

Holycross and Newport which will be played next week.

Operation Tea and Coffee

Well done and thank you to all the parents who have given their time to help raise funds for the new field by selling teas and coffees each Saturday morning at the field. For €1 you can have a cup of tea or coffee cheerfully served to you by parent helpers. If you have any baked goods or other items which would go nicely with a cuppa, why not bring them along for the sales people to sell. Parents who have helped out to date: Rita Kelly, Catherine McWey, Frank Donnelly, Carol Oakley, Rebecca Lloyd, Sandar Lyons, Lisa Bennet, Amanda Coughlan, Grainne Kelly, Pat Bradly & John Dundon and Martina McKeogh. It’s great to have so many “tea and coffee elves” playing their part. What could you do to help raise funds for the new field ?
