The club could also win a training session with Henry Shefflin or Karl Lacey so please include the code from inside a special Cúl Camp Kelloggs cereal box when you book online.

Senior Notes:

Senior Hurling Championship

Best wishes to our Senior Hurlers who play Nenagh Eire Og in Round 2 of the senior Hurling Championship this Sunday, 26th April, in Newport (check fixtures for confirmation). After our opening round defeat to Clonoulty/Rossmore, a win would be needed in order to remain in contention for one of the play-off spots. Please get up to support the lads.

Junior B Hurling League

Our Junior B Hurlers continued their improvement, despite losing narrowly to Lorrha on Sunday last 19th April. Lorrha 1-11, Ballina 0-12. Ballina are out of contention for league honours but are shaping up nicely for the championship. The team have one game remaining in the league against Kildangan.

Minor A Football Championship

Our minor footballers opened their campaign at home to Kildangan on Thursday 16th April. Ballina played well for the first 40 minutes or so, but after this, Kildangan dominated the last third. Final Score: Ballina 0-6, Kildangan 3-13.

Ballina Team: Conor Burke, Michael Lane, Tom McGrath (capt), Louis Kennedy, Ronan Gilmartin, Brian Connolly, Ruairi Clarke, Bill Floyd, Terry O'Halloran , James Prentice, Liam McGratten, Steven Atkinson, Mark Power, Conan O'Sullivan, Jamie O'Dea

Tipperary

Well done to Tipperary Under-21 Footballers on their great victory over Dublin in Tullamore, on Saturday last, in the All-Ireland semi-final. Our own Steven O'Brien played a huge roll winning the TG4 Man of the Match. Great stuff Steven!! Best wishes in the final on Sat 2nd May against Tyrone.

Hard luck to Tipp Senior hurlers & Mickey Breen on the narrow loss to Waterford in the National Hurling League semi-final on Sunday in Kilkenny.
