5-year plan

We expect to have a launch in the month of November, but in the meantime you can submit any ideas you may have to secretary.ballina.tipperary@gaa.ie in the coming days.

Juvenile Notes:

Juvenile Presentation Night

The annual presentation night will take place on November 7th. More details re time etc. next week.

This is always a great night for the juvenile club as it gives the coaches an opportunity to acknowledge the efforts made by each age group during the year.

U14s

The U14s played Nenagh Eire Óg on Monday afternoon. Their outstanding tournament group game v Silvermines will be played in the next few days with the finals pencilled in for weekend of Nov 7th / 8th.

Winter Training

There was no training session last weekend due to the mid term break but will resume again next Sat. There are good numbers attending every week and the boys are enjoying the sessions.

Senior Notes:

Under-21 Hurling:

We expect a game in the losers group on the weekend of 8th or 15th November. Please keep an eye on notes/fixtures for more details

Junior Football:

We still have a north final to play against Newport. Should have details shortly.

Club AGM:

AGM fixed for Friday 4th December. Motion/Nomination forms out shortly. Camogie AGM Friday 27th November. If you have ideas about the running of Tipperary Leagues or Championships, please submit them to secretary.Ballina.Tipperary@Gaa.ie on or before November 6th

Inter-County Quiz:

Our very popular Inter-county quiz is scheduled for November 20th

Congratulations:

Well done to Thurles Sarsfields and hard luck to Nenagh Eire Og on Sunday last. Well done also to Clonakenny on their great win. Clonakenny's selection team included former Ballina Coach Vincent McKenna & current Under-8 selector Seamus Nolan. Best wishes to all sides who won County Finals over the weekend.

Hurling/Shinty:

Mikey Breen represented his club and county on the Irish Under hurling/shinty team at the weekend. It's great to see international recognition for one of our players again
