Membership /Registration:

Thanks to everyone who has registered so far. We wish to remind all remaining club members that membership is now overdue.Membership must be paid as soon as possible to enable you to play and also to have a vote in the AGM.

Scrap Saturday:

Thanks to all who supported Scrap Saturday last week!! We really do appreciate your efforts in making the effort to come out in the bad weather!!

5-year plan:

The club is presently developing a 5-year plan. The plan will cover everything from coaching to communications to facilities. Have you any thoughts or ideas on where the club should be going over the next 5-years??? Please email your thoughts and comments to secretary.ballina.tipperary@gaa.ie mentioning "5-year Plan".

Lotto Results:

There was no winner of the lotto last week. Winning numbers were 6.8,20,25.

Jackpot for this week is €20,000. Lines are €2 each and can be bought online by clicking on the lotto link on the Ballina GAA website.‘If you’re not in, you can’t win!’

Juvenile Notes:

Results:

U12 Group 1 and 4

Congratulations to Group 1, who had an impressive win over Nenagh in Ballina last Friday. Group 4 gained 2 points on Friday as Nenagh couldn't field a full team, and a challenge match was played instead.

U14 ‘s

The U14s were beaten by Toomevara in The Feile Hurling competition on Monday, 23rd March. They struggled to find their feet in the first half but were much improved and in striking form in the second half. Unfortunately it was too late to make up the score difference.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery to Cathal O’Donnell who dislocated his thumb in the Feile match.

North Tipperary Divisional Teams:

Well done to Conor Bourke who was part of The North Tipp U15 team that won The Roger Ryan Cup on Sat in Toomevara!!

The North Tipp U14s played in the Peadar Cummins Tournament in Borris-ileigh on Saturday March 28th, but lost out to Mid Tipp. Well done to Robbie Breen who was on the panel.

Upcoming Fixtures:

U12s

Group 1 and 4 have a bye this week.

Group 3 play Lorrha in Ballina on Thursday April 2nd @ 6.30

Group 3 also play Ballinahinch on Friday April 3rd @ 7pm in Ballina.

U14s

U14s play in The Feile Football Competition on Easter Mon . Venue to be confirmed. Semi finals and Final will be played on the same day.

The U14 s begin their championship on Thursday April 9th away to Kildangan.

U16s

U16s play Round 3 on Monday April 6th away to Toomevara.

Easter & Summer Camp:

Senior Notes:

Senior Hurling Challenge Cup:

Our Senior Hurlers will play Clonoulty/Rossmore in Round 1 of the County Senior Championship in The Ragg on Sunday 12th April. All support on the day would be great. Brian McKeogh has been appointed captain for the year.

Junior B Hurling League:

Our Junior B Hurlers started off their League campaign in Borrisokane on Saturday 28th March against the home side. On the evening, things did not go well for Ballina, and Borrisokane ran out deserving winners by 1-15 to 1-07.

Best wishes to Paddy O'Donovan who received an accidental, but serious, injury in the Junior B Match on Saturday.
