Juvenile Notes:

U6s and U8s

Our youngest players are training on Saturday mornings at 10am. All new recruits welcome. It is a great way for your child to be active and make new friends. A reminder to U6 parents that one parent must remain at the field while your child is training. This is for safety reasons.

U10s

The U10s played Borrisoleigh in Community Games hurling on Monday 27th April last. They received a walkover from Templederry in Community Games football.

U12s

U12 Group 1 has made it to the North Tipp semi- final and play Silvermines in Ballina on Thursday 30th April. U12 Group 3 have also made the North Tipp semi -final and play Ballinhinch in Ballina on Thursday 30th April. U12 Group 4 didn't make it through to the knockout stages.

Best of luck to the boys on Thursday night!! Please come down to the field to support them.

U14

The U14s travelled to Portroe on Wednesday 22nd April and came away with a win and 2 points.

They represented North Tipp in The Feile Peil County Semi-final on Sat 25th in Holycross against Clonmel Og who were a very strong side. Trailing well at half time they gave a spirited display in the second half and can come away knowing that they gave it their best and were beaten by a better team. Clonmel Og went on to win the final 4-07 to 1-01.

They play Newport Gaels in the next round of the championship in Ballina on Wednesday evening 29th April at 6:30pm.

Best wishes to Josh Egan, who has injured his finger. Hopefully he will be back ‘running at defences’ very soon. U16 The U16s were beaten by Borrisokane on April 23rd. They now bow out of the football championship and have a long break until the hurling championship begins in early July, after the Junior Cert finishes.
