Hurling Update

Both our Intermediate and Junior teams were in action last weekend, the former were playing

Ballinahinch in the County League on Friday evening. Despite missing 7 regulars they managed to overcome our local rivals, and had 6 points to spare at the end. A feature of the game was the accuracy of free taker David Hickey contributing almost half of Ballina's total. The junior A Hurlers had a comfortable victory over Borris-leigh in Ballinahinch on Saturday evening, showing great determination from start

to finish. This was essentially a great team effort, and the perfect start to the championship, final score Ballina 2-15 Borris-leigh 1-9.
