In order to maintain a healthy life, it is useful to have an understanding of how the human body functions and what is needed to live in our world.

Ākonga will be able to develop their practical skills, using modelling, pattern-seeking, research and investigation.
WHAT CONTEXTS IS THE LEARNING IN?
WHAT CONTEXTS IS THE LEARNING IN?
The main context of this course will be Living World (Biology), but also Material World, (Chemistry), and Physical World (Physics) are part of the course.

This course leads to NCEA Level 1 Science (Year 11) and Level 2 and 3 Biology.
