When does this course run: This course runs in either Semester 1 or 2 (ākonga can choose one or two semesters).
Manukura GPS is a multilevel boy's leadership class (Yrs 9 to 13) focused on building resilient young people through the concepts of hauora, tūrangawaewae and manaakitanga.

Completing the programme will give you the opportunity to find and push past your physical and mental limits, connect in a more meaningful way with who you are and what you stand for as well as form strong working relationships with like-minded people.
Manukura you will learn about Hauora, exercise physiology, societal pressures and essential life skills.
You will work through a programme with a variety of practical and class-based activities. These are designed to build our understanding of hauora, physiology and society in a meaningful and relevant way.
Manukura GPS runs as a course and as a programme before school. If ākonga choose to continue with the course, there are opportunities for both leadership and NCEA recognition.
