Embark on an Epic Journey with NCEA HSS3!
What will you do in NCEA HSS3? At Level 3, you'll delve into the captivating theme of Empire and Conquest. Explore the rise and fall of empires, the strategies and ambitions of conquerors, and the profound impacts these forces had on societies across the ages. Engage with a mix of ancient and modern history, literature, and philosophy to uncover the complexities of power, ambition, and legacy.
Join NCEA HSS3 and embark on an epic journey through time, developing critical thinking and analytical skills while gaining a deep understanding of the forces that have shaped our world.
Ākonga will have the opportunity to be assessed using internally and externally assessed standards. The exact number of credits and type of assessments offered will depend on the student’s pathway requirements. This will be collaboratively planned in response to the student’s timetable and plans for the future. Between 12-21 credits available (Up to 15 internal and 6 external)

Ākonga should have:
1 x refill or 1 x 1B8 lined book, 1 x document wallet, pens / pencils, etc. This has a cost of $5 and can be purchased from the Student Centre. Students must also have their own chromebook, charger and a set of working headphones.
