Completing the Level 3 PE programme is a chance to push yourself physically and also to extend your understanding of being active, how we can improve our performance and how we can shape positive future exercise habits.
You will build on existing knowledge and understanding of biophysical principles and sociocultural factors which have an effect on participation in physical activity.
You will complete a variety of both practical and theory work which is related to the performance of a variety of practical skills. Using your experiences you will then reflect on your performance to make meaningful changes for the future.
The course is assessed internally through written assessments
Standard 91498 - Evaluate Physical Experience to plan for lifelong wellbeing (internal)
Standard 91499 - Analyse a physical skill performed by self or others (internal)
Standard 91500 - Evaluate the effectiveness of a performance improvement programme (internal)
Standard 91501 - Demonstrate a quality performance of a physical activity in an applied setting (internal)
Standard 91505 - Examine contemporary leadership principles (internal)
