Manawanui Wahine looks at 'Mana'; what does it look and feel like? The school waiata and haka are learnt. Healthy relationships are identified. Learning is done through team games, through collaboration and problem solving, in the Maara kai/garden. Ākonga look into how important wai was/is to Māori and, as citizens, how and why we need to restore and protect it.
