Dear BRMS Families:
We are excited to have completed our first full week of school at BRMS! Students are settling in quickly and adapting to their new routines.
Last week, our Physical Education classes focused on bicycle safety, supported by Local Motion, who provided bikes for students to ride around campus. Many students also brought their bikes from home, filling our bike racks to capacity each morning. Despite a few scraped knees and elbows, everyone had a great time riding together and enjoying the crisp autumn weather.
Please note that students are not permitted to walk to local stores after school and then return to catch our buses, as the intersection of River Road and Route 15 presents safety hazards for pedestrians. Additionally, students may not stay after school to hang out while waiting for late dismissal buses; these buses are only for students attending supervised school activities. Students who do not follow these guidelines will not be allowed on the bus, and parents or guardians will be asked to pick them up. Ensuring the safety of our students is our highest priority. Please reach out if you have any questions regarding your child's after-school plans.
Kevin
