Our student leadership group, STAC (Students Taking Action Committee), is organizing a student Talent Show on the evening of Oct. 28th. We are excited to showcase our students' many talents. Stay tuned for more details!
Have a great week!
Kevin
We have started our Disc Golf and Golf units in PE. Ask your student about the new skills they are learning with these wonderful lifetime sports.
We'd like to remind families to help encourage your child to wear or bring proper footwear to school on days they have PE. We would love to see more athletic footwear. This will help with safety and allow your child to move more confidently in our PE activities. Thank you for your help!
Basketball sign ups are posted on the gym bulletin board for the BRMS teams. BRMS Basketball is open to 7th & 8th graders. The sign up deadline will be October 30th. The season will start the week of November 16th. More information will be emailed out to those that sign up. Please make sure you complete your online forms.
5th & 6th Graders are encouraged to check out MMYBL. Their rec league sign ups are still open.

Message to Community Announcing the Test of our Emergency Notification System
During the early evening hours of Thursday, October 15th Mount Mansfield Unified Union School District will conduct a test of our Emergency Notification System. This routine test ensures our communication tools are working properly.
Families will receive a message via phone, text, and email stating:
“This is a test of our emergency notification system. MMUUSD will use this system to notify you in the event of a school closure, early dismissal, or other emergency. If you have received this message in error or would like to add or delete a phone number, please contact your local school or email data@mmuusd.org.”
Important: If you would like to receive emergency notifications via text message, please send a text to 67587 with the message “Y” or “Yes” prior to Thursday, October 15th.
If you do not receive a message during the evening of October 15th please email data@mmuusd.org to ensure delivery of future notifications.
Friendly reminder that Thursday’s message is only a test. Thank you for helping us maintain a reliable communication system for our district.
