Dear BRMS Families,

Our 8th grade class is nearing the end of their four years at BRMS. We are beginning to plan many end of the year events to celebrate their incredibly unusual time in our building. Recognition Night is tentatively scheduled for June 9th at 6:30 p.m. Our plan will be to hold the event at our athletic fields. In the event of inclement weather we will hold the event in our gymnasium. In addition to Recognition Night our 8th grade students will be going to the Great Escape on Friday June 3. They will go on the Spirit of Ethan Allen during the school day on June 9th. Please contact Leah Rowe (btvvyd2016@gmail.com) if you would like to help plan Recognition NIght with other parents.

Our first 7/8th grade dance will be held on May 6 from 7-9:00. This will be our first middle school dance since February 2020! We are looking forward to this event and it will help to raise funds to offset the cost of the 8th Grade. The 5/6 Party is scheduled for April 15 from the end of school until 4:30. All students must have a signed permission slip to participate in the party. These forms were sent home this week. Contact us if you have not received a form. There are no permission forms needed for the 7/8 grade dance.

Please remember that Wednesday April 13th is an early release day and April 15th is the start of our spring vacation.

The BRMS 5/6 Party is BACK!!

The 5/6 Party (a pre-COVID tradition) is back! Friday, April 15 from 2:45-4:30pm.

What is the 5/6 Party? An after-school event for 5th & 6th grade students.

There will be music, games, and prizes in the cafeteria. The gym will be open for basketball.

And, if the weather is nice, we’ll open the doors for outdoor space too!

How do 5/6 students sign up? All it takes is $5.00 per student and this permission slip. Families needing financial support can contact kevin.hamilton@mmuusd.org.

What else do I need to know? We need parent volunteers!
