RIVER RAIDER

Dear BRMS Families,

Thankfully we had much cooler temperatures for our first full week of school.  On Wednesday we held our first NEST advisory meeting.  New 5th grade students were guided to their advisory by our older students.  The focus of this week’s meeting was reconnecting students with their advisors and introducing our new students to the group.  Our theme this year is focused on a sense of belonging to the community.  Please be sure to ask your child about their experience in NEST as this will help us to build a healthy and supportive community at BRMS.

We will be holding our Open House on Tuesday, October 3rd from 6:30-7:30 p.m.  There will be a school wide scavenger hunt for this event.  All families will be given a list of fun tasks to complete during the evening.  All BRMS student participants will be eligible to win some BRMS Spirit Wear at the end of the evening.  We look forward to seeing all of you on the 3rd!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Kevin
