Dear BRMS Families:
Have a wonderful break. See you in March!
Kevin
The Sleep Out is an annual one -night event in which people of all ages, across Chittenden and Franklin Counties, sleep outside in solidarity with youth facing homelessness.
BRMS Captain’s Gregory Martin (5/6 School Counselor) and Jeff Warren (Team Journey) invite you all to get involved with us for the 2026 Spectrum STUDENT Sleep Out at BRMS on March 26th, 2026.
Why Sleep Out?
The Sleep Out provides a unique opportunity for our students to understand the serious problem of youth homelessness. By asking friends and family to support their efforts with monetary donations, participants make a difference in the lives of the 1,400+ homeless and at -risk youth served by Spectrum each year. We want participants to leave with a better understanding of what homelessness is like, the impact of homelessness on our communities, and some of the programs and services that Spectrum provides to youth in need.
We raise funds & awareness! Join us and make a difference!
Where does the money go?
Spectrum Youth and Family Services
BRMS has participated in the SSSO for the last 12 years and has currently raised over $130,000. Each dollar raised has helped a Vermont teenager who has struggled with homelessness.
Here is the video we showed at CPR and something you may want to show your friends, family and co-workers?
And, with your parent(s) / guardian(s) permission, please sign up here and start your fundraising!
