Happy New Year!
It was great to welcome back our students to the halls of BRMS this week. They quickly settled back into their daily routines after a long December Break.
Our after school schedule continues to be filled up with clubs, basketball games, and drama rehearsals. We are still looking for an assistant to help Laurie Forsman with our drama program. Please contact me if you have any interest in this paid position. Today our girls basketball team is headed to MUUHS to face their cross town rivals from Camels Hump. GO RAIDERS!
Next week we will host our first concert of the year, on January 14th, for 5th and 6th grade Band and Chorus. Our 7th and 8th grade concert will be held on January 20th. Both events will start at 7:00 p.m. Please be sure to join us for two amazing nights of music!
Jeff Warren has begun recruiting students for the annual Penguin Plunge that will be held on February 7th. This is an annual event that our students look forward to every winter. Last year our students raised over $25,000 for the Vermont Special Olympics. Family members are always welcome to join us as we plunge into the icy waters of Lake Champlain. More information can be found in future editions of the River Raider.
Have a great weekend. Go Bills!
