Dear BRMS Family:
It was a busy week at BRMS this week! On Tuesday evening we hosted our new 5th grade families, and Wednesday Night was our Fine Arts Night. Today we welcomed our incoming 5th grade students, while sending our 8th grade students to visit the High School.
There continues to be plenty of mixed emotions for all of our staff and students during this time of transition. The changes that happen for our students over four years of middle school are amazing. Today we witnessed those dramatic changes as our younger students arrived for Move-Up Day. At the same time our 8th grade students took their next step in their educational journey at MMU. It is an awesome time of life and it truly is the reason why we love to work with middle school students.
We continue to have many activities and events for our students over the final month of school. Please be sure to check our list of events in the River Raider each week. Our Jazz Band has a final concert on The Church Street Marketplace on June 4th at 1:40. I have heard the group rehearsing all week and they sound fantastic. We hope to see you out there to enjoy some smooth jazz!
Have a wonderful weekend.
Kevin

Parent Information Regarding Student Belonging Survey
All students in grades 3-12 will be provided an online survey in the next two weeks related to their sense of belonging in school. This brief (four question) online survey aims to collect data on student sense of belonging to inform our efforts to better support student well being.
