Dear BRMS Families:
After being postponed in February due to frigid temperatures the Penguin Plunge has finally arrived! BRMS students have raised nearly $20,000 for the Vermont Special Olympics and will be jumping in Lake Champlain tomorrow morning at 11:00 a.m. We are super excited and proud to have nearly 70 staff and students participate in this event. It will be a balmy 35 degrees when we hit the water, and we hope to see you all down there cheering us on!
The Second Trimester of the school year ended today. Report Cards will be mailed home to families on Friday, March 27th. Please be sure to take a few minutes to go over your child’s report. Teachers spend a great deal of time providing thoughtful and encouraging feedback to our students. Please be sure to reach out if you have any questions after you have received this report.
We hope to see you on the Burlington Waterfront tomorrow morning!
Have a great weekend!
Kevin

Hello families, staff, and community at large!
As you may already be aware, the Browns River Action Group (BRAG) was established so that parents, staff, and teachers can work together to support and enrich student life at our school. We appreciate the support you've given over the past few years, and look forward to continuing our work together.
At this time, we are seeking your input to better serve our community, and plan for the years ahead. We appreciate your thoughtful responses and welcome your engagement here:
The survey will be open through Friday, March 27. We will share the results of the survey at the April BRAG meeting and on the BRAG website.
Warmly,
Karen Drawbaugh, 2025-2026 President
Sarah Greer, 2025-2026 Treasurer
Rebecca Marsh, 2025-2026 Secretary
