Dear BRMS Families:
In mid December our 8th grade students had the opportunity to visit the University of Vermont Physics and Chemistry Departments. This is an annual tradition for our students to engage in the sciences and for them to have the exposure to what a college experience might look like for them in the future. This is one of the favorite experiences our older students have at BRMS and they always enthusiastically return to our campus with numerous stories about their adventures from that day. UVM has posted an article on their website about our visit and there are some amazing pictures of our students enjoying the day! (Making Science Fun and Memorable)
We hosted our first music concert of the year last night at BRMS. Our 5th and 6th students displayed their musical talents to a crowd of over 400 people! It was a wonderful night of music and fun for all involved. We will be hosting our 7th and 8th Grade concert on Wednesday, Jan. 24th at 7:00 p.m. Be sure to come out and support our amazing musicians next week and check out the pictures from this week’s concert!

The Mount Mansfield Unified Union School District is pleased to announce that Jenn Cote has accepted the MMUUSD Director of Special Services position for our district.
Jenn Cote earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from the Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science and her Master of Education in Special Education from Saint Michael’s College. Currently serving as the Principal at Underhill Central School since 2019, Jenn previously held the position of principal at Underhill ID School for one year and was a special educator in our District for 10 years.
Jenn is excited to transition into this new role within our school community and to continue her efforts in supporting MMUUSD staff, students and families.

Browns River Action Group (BRAG), the parent teacher organization at BRMS, helps promote student self-esteem, supports school staff, and assists in efforts to solve school needs through volunteering and fundraising.
