RIVER RAIDER

Dear BRMS Families,

The show must go on!  After three years of waiting we had to wait four more additional nights for our students to restart our drama program due to a power outage that occurred 20 minutes before showtime.  Thank you to all of the parents who helped our students safely exit the building in an orderly fashion!  On Tuesday evening the production successfully went on without any problems.  Congratulations to all of our performers and crew for a wonderful event and a thank you to Ms. Forsman for all of your hard work and dedication!

Our spring sports season will be starting on Monday.  Baseball, softball and track will be offered to our students this spring.  The weather looks amazing next week and we should be able to get out on the fields early this year.  Most of our competitions will occur in the month of May after our April vacation.  We will also be offering ultimate frisbee as a club event after school.  Please contact Matt Lennon if you have any questions or would like to sign your child up for a spring sport.

This afternoon our students celebrated the winter sports season with our annual staff/student basketball game.   The gym was the loudest it has been in years with our students cheering on the teams.   It was a great way to head into the weekend.

Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the warmer temperatures!

Kevin
