Dear BRMS Families:
The BRMS fall sports season is quickly wrapping up this week. Several teams are participating in end-of-season tournaments, and our cross-country team will compete in the County Championships at the Shelburne Museum on Tuesday. We are extremely proud of all our student-athletes for their hard work, sportsmanship, and positive representation of BRMS on and off the field. Congratulations to all players, runners, and coaches for another outstanding season!
Next week, our Students Taking Action Committee will host the BRMS Talent Show on Wednesday, October 28th, at 6:00 p.m. in the gymnasium. We have over 20 acts scheduled, showcasing a wide variety of talents including rock bands, dance routines, and even a magic show! We are thrilled for our students to share their incredible talents with the BRMS community. Please come out to support our performers for what promises to be an entertaining and energetic evening.
As a reminder, there is no school for students this Thursday or Friday. Parent-teacher conferences will take place on Thursday. If you haven't already, please be sure to sign up for a time to meet with your child's teachers to discuss their growth and accomplishments so far this school year.
Have a wonderful week!
Kevin
We have started our Disc Golf and Golf units in PE. Ask your student about the new skills they are learning with these wonderful lifetime sports.
We'd like to remind families to help encourage your child to wear or bring proper footwear to school on days they have PE. We would love to see more athletic footwear. This will help with safety and allow your child to move more confidently in our PE activities. Thank you for your help!
Basketball sign ups are posted on the gym bulletin board for the BRMS teams. BRMS Basketball is open to 7th & 8th graders. The sign up deadline will be October 30th. The season will start the week of November 16th. More information will be emailed out to those that sign up. Please make sure you complete your online forms.
5th & 6th Graders are encouraged to check out MMYBL. Their rec league sign ups are still open.
