This painting symbolize FOMO (fear of missing out) people had during pandemic. Forced isolation induced by COVID-19 pandemic dramatically impacted individuals' well-being, reducing the opportunities for social encounters, consequently resulting in a greater use of social media in order to maintain social relationships.
The theme is "feeling bored." The app I use is IbisPaint. I use a application call Picsart for making the background of my art. The reason why I made the background like a "out of space" theme is because when I am bored and have nothing to do I always look up at the stars and to be honest I don't even know why I do that. I aded a word which is "Error", the reason why I chose that word is because I feel like a error thing when I am bored.
A year after the pandemic started I started seeing things out of the corner of my eye and hearing things that aren't really there, which is pretty fun to me personally because it means that I'm either haunted or sleep deprived. Has it made me more paranoid? Maybe. Am I concerned? Honestly not really.
The feeling of stress.
I chose this theme because it's very simple and I can branch this theme out into multiple places. The reason why I chose this very simple and "basic" topic is that I want to try to turn something "basic" into something unexpected. I think in the past I have always thrived to try to be original or to be unique, but this time, I want to make something basic, relatable, but close to home, and turn it into something magnificent . The color scheme and overall theme of my piece was inspired by the Apple Card
'Don't Leave Me' is an artwork that follows a child-like theme, having teen girl holding a bear doll as the main subject. This gives off an impression that the teen girl is childish, but she acts that way in order to make people like her or give her attention. The teen girl is on her road to maturity, and she feels scared that if she acts her age or slightly more mature, people will leave her.
