RUBE GOLDBERG MACHINES
To achieve the dimensions of Intelligent, Communicative, Innovative, and Reflective, students are asked to design and assemble a Rube Goldberg machine.
To show their competencies, the year 5 students made their own version of the Rube Goldberg machine using at least 3 simple machines and applied the Newton’s laws to successfully complete an “end task.” Through these learning experiences, students develop their understanding of the concept of Simple machines, Force, and the Laws of Motion, develop their creative and critical thinking skills by solving a simple task using a compound machine and make the blueprint of their machine. The students enhance their communication skills by presenting their Rube Goldberg machines orally.
In This activity, I make a video about me explaining my rube Goldberg machine. in the video I say what is the newton law, and I say about the simple machines that I choose, and I explain how does my machine works one step to another step. for me making this rube goldberg machine is hard because like in some of the trial my machine don't works so I keep fixing it. communicative and probably inteiligent, for the communicative I ask someone on my house to help me and sometimes I ask the teacher about what am I confused about.

In this project, I explained about the Newton law and I say about the simple machine and I talk about my first second trial. And the process on making this is pretty hard every time I try it fall a part a lot so I try to fix it. To achieve the dimension Intelligent I've created a Rube Goldberg machine to solve a problem. First I needed to find a problem, I looked around my house and I noticed my brother never cleans up his toys. So I made a machine that can clean toys. First I watched the examples from the 2020/2021 Y5 class. And after watching the examples I got inspiration. I then made the blueprint of the machine, after that I got the materials for the machine. The last thing I needed to do is just make it. The making process took some time. There were three main trials where the machine part works. After the three trials and the machine works, I made the explanation about the machine. This took only 4 days to make.
To achieve the dimensions of Reflective and Innovative, I’ve accomplished reflecting things like the things that go wrong in my project while I innovate ways to fix them, as I created an Explanation Video. Through this learning experience, I develop my understanding and skill of my building innovative skills and transfer thinking skills in applying the Innovative skill to the real life situation.
To achieve the dimensions of Intelligent and reflective, I’ve accomplished making a machine for watering my plant by the help of my parents, as I built a machine for watering my plant using the materials in my house. Through this learning experience I develop my understanding of physical measurement and standard of measurement and transfer thinking skill in applying the physical measurement to the real life situation.

Through this learning experience I develop my understanding/skill of physical measurement and standard of measurement and thinking innovatively for a daily life problem to be solved.
To achieve the dimension of intelligent I’ve design a Rube Goldberg machine. When I create the machine, I first research in google or YouTube. After that, I found the materials and create it, But when I create it I need to see if it works or no. While creating the machine, I sometimes use other materials when I needed. This machine took days around 5 days. Oh and this machine I make is ringing a bell.

My Rube Goldberg was a little fail it took about 2 until 3 weeks to finish it. It was difficult for me my plan didn't work at all so I need to make a new one really quick because it has to be done like 3 days after it. I hope I got an expanding but if I got developing well it's okay but my goal is expanding. It was so hard that I did the trial for about 30 until 50 trials, but after it was finished I was so relieved it was finished, but I tried my best to do it and I am proud of it.

To achieve the dimension of intelligent and communicative, I first think of what I wanted to make and what problem I wanted to solve. I thinked of what problem I wanted to solve and I searched for insparation on how to make my problem solving machine. Then I thinked about what materials im going to use, what the simple machine im going to use, and what newton law im going to use. Then I made it and made a video of me explaning the rube goldberg and how it worked and whats the problem. The skill I developed through this journey is my creativity and my presentation skills because I needed to really explain my rube goldberg in detail. For example I could be more creative in designing my rube goldberg like removing and adding a couple more stuff and changin bits of the machine.

So for this activity, we have to make like a survey and then we first have to make the question then we have to check the question to see if it's right if not like rechecking after that we make a google form then we translate the question then we put it in the google form and then we post the google form to people to fill in our survey.
