Human Body Systems
To achieve the dimensions of Intelligent, Caring and Communicative, students are making a project based on their understanding of the human body system. Students are free to choose the digestive or respiratory systems that they will share. They may create a digital or manual poster, draw their chosen body system on a T-shirt, and then create a video to present their understanding. Through this learning experience, students develop their critical thinking by showing their understanding of the human body system and are able to apply the way to maintain the health of the human body system in real life and enhance their communicative skills by presenting their understanding of human body systems.

Because now I really like the human body system. I also like body systems in science class. Now I know when humans digest food and are processed by our body systems. Then our body will carry it through the blood circulation and our body will get energy.

I choose the respiratory system because I get to know more about the respiratory system, and I also memorize all the parts of the respiratory system.

Ecosystems
To achieve the dimensions of Intelligent, Caring, and Communicative, students are making a project based on their understanding of the ecosystems. Students are free to choose which ecosystems that they will research and make the diorama. They also may create a digital or manual poster and draw their ways to save the ecosystems. Through this learning experience, students develop their critical thinking by showing their understanding of the ecosystems and the living and non-living things that live there. They are able to apply the ways in real-life to save the health of the ecosystem and enhance their communicative skills by presenting their understanding of changes happening in the ecosystem.

I picked this poster because this is my favorite subject and I want to show awareness to others that littering is very bad for the ocean.

I chose the poster saving the Arctic because I want to spread my awareness and I want to show everyone how can we save the Arctic. I'm hoping that everyone who sees my poster can try to save the Arctic, too.
Matters - Experiment
This activity is designed for students to achieve the dimensions of Intelligent and Communicative. The year 3 students are asked to carry out an experiment to investigate the reversible and irreversible changes. Through this experiment, students develop creative thinking skills by designing and conducting an experiment based on their choice, the critical thinking skills by collecting results from the experiment then drawing a conclusion and making connections between the concept learned and the result of observation, and eventually develop their communication skills by sharing the findings with their classmates in a structured format.
