Sustainable Airport by Carissa Shalatine Hidayat
To achieve the dimensions of Intelligent and Communicative, I’ve accomplished a 2D and 3D site plan of a sustainable airport. I draw a design of a sustainable airport with some buildings and some renewable energy sources. I choose water and solar as energy sources in my sustainable airport. For solar energy, I used solar panels and place them on the top of every building. On the side of the airport, there is a water dam to collect the water and the wave will produce hydroelectricity as the second source of energy. I also put many plants in the garden to support the environment as an eco-friendly airport. Not only develop my understanding of force, energy, and the effect of renewable and non-renewable energy on our life, this project also strengthened my communication skills by presenting my journal and 3D model in front of the class.

I draw a design of a sustainable airport with some buildings and some renewable energy sources. I choose wind and solar as energy sources in my sustainable airport. For solar energy, I used solar panels and place them on a solar farm at my airport. On the other side of the airport, there is a wind farm consisting of several wind turbines that will transform wind energy into electricity. I also put many plants in the garden to support the environment as an eco-friendly airport. Through this learning experience, I develop my understanding of force and energy, also the effect of renewable and non-renewable energy on our life. I also strengthened my communication skills by presenting my journal and design in front of the class.

I choose geothermal because the city has a geothermal heat pump that is used to extract the earth’s heat into steam. Then the steam turns a turbine and makes electricity. Through this learning experience, I develop my understanding of force and energy, also the effect of renewable and non-renewable energy on our life. I also strengthened my communication skills by presenting my journal and design in front of the class.

My Catapult Experiment by Juro Kenzie Kastara Rahi Aziz
To achieve the dimensions of Intelligent and Communicative, I’ve conducted a catapult experiment and accomplished a journal of these experiments. I mention the materials, variables, and steps of the experiment in my journal. I used one design of catapult and various ammunition which are the plastic ball, paper ball, eraser, and dice. I also make a table to record the data of the experiment and then make a graph based on the result of the experiment. Through this learning experience, I develop my understanding of force and energy, also the connection between force and distance. I found out that using different ammunition will result in different distances.
To achieve the dimensions of Intelligent and Communicative, I’ve conducted a catapult experiment and accomplished a journal of these experiments. I mention the materials, variables, and steps of the experiment in my journal. I used one design of catapult and various ammunition which are the plastic ball, paper ball, eraser, and dice. I also make a table to record the data of the experiment and then make a graph based on the result of the experiment. Through this learning experience, I develop my understanding of force and energy, also the connection between force and distance. I found out that using different ammunition will result in different distances.

I found out that a catapult can be used to fly things and the distance between the two different catapult designs was also different.
