Math Tic Tac Toe Project

To achieve dimension of intelligent the students solve some mathematics problems like probability and fractions by doing a Tic Tac Toe games. In this project the student solve some probability events and making probability questions. The students also solving some fractions problems like equivalent fractions, addition, and subtraction by making a pizza fraction. Through this activity the students develop the understanding skills in probability and fractions.

Data Survey and Graph Project

To achieve the dimensions of intelligent and communication the students is doing a survey about their chosen topics, and they collected the data from their classmate or their friends. After the data is collected they turn the data into a bar graph, and present their survey result to the class. Through this activity the students develop their understanding skill in data handling and how to collected data by survey.

I am proud of this project because I am a football fan, so I made a survey about favorite football player. The challenge I faced when doing this project was finding people for survey asking questions to other people. I overcome this challenge by I ask friends and family members to be respondents. From this activity I learned how to do a survey, making questions, and making graph.

Bedroom Design Project

To achieve the dimension of intelligent the students is making a bedroom design on a coordinate plane. Then the students calculate the area and perimeter of certain objects in their design, and also mention the coordinate of the objects. The student also identify and mention the angles on their design. Through this activity the student develop their understanding of multiple topics like coordinate, shapes, angle, area and perimeter by design an everyday object or their own bedroom.
