The purpose of the project is to achieve the intelligent and communication dimension that students create a healthy life journal poster. During the process, learners conducted simple survey to their families or friends by interviewing them about the healthy life activities. Then, they also conduct self-observation regarding their healthy habits such as the meal choices, exercises, sleeping habits and other healthy habit. Furthermore, learners wrote simple descriptions for the poster from different categories as the result from the survey and observation. Furthermore, students present the result of their healthy life journal as part of communicative achievement. Through the series of activities, learners involve critical thinking skills to determine the healthy and unhealthy habits and the creativity skills in giving students time to choose and decide some relevant visual cues for their poster.
This project is in collaboration with PSE lesson aiming to raise awareness to solve conflict and give solutions using several strategies learned in PSE. In English acquisition, the purpose of the project is to achieve the intelligent and communication dimension by asking learners to create a comprehensible poster using simple sentences in giving messages from the immediate experiences about solving the conflict. Besides, learners are also encouraged to select the relevant visual cues as representation of the message from the poster.
