New serial issues are recorded at the item level. Each issue has its own item record. When issues are bound, the items for the individual issues are withdrawn and a new item is created for the bound volume.
When we are checking in serial issues or indicating the contents of a bound volume, we use the Enumeration, Chronology, and Description fields in the General Information tab of the item record.
It should not be necessary to go to the ENUM/CHRON information tab.
