Taylor & Francis-OCLC collection loading through KBART Automation for managing WorldCat holdings
OCLC will connect to Taylor & Francis and automatically update our e-book holdings on a weekly basis using KBART Automation.
1. Get token from Taylor & Francis
Sign into https://uri.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https://www.taylorfrancis.com/.
Navigate to Institutional Settings and generate a Customer Reference Number (CRN). (Note, this is not our account number.)
URI's token is [see "Alma APIs and integrations" spreadsheet in GoogleDrive].
2. Configure in OCLC
Log into WorldShare Collection Manager here: https://riu.share.worldcat.org/wms/
To enable WorldCat holdings maintenance (available only to libraries with an OCLC Cataloging and Metadata Subscription), under Metadata => Collection Manager, go to Institution Settings => WorldCat Holdings. Set Maintain Holdings to Yes.
Note: Maintain Holdings was set to Yes on 12/2018 and does not need to be repeated with subsequent KBART Automation vendors activations.
Note: If you click on the name of a selected Collection, and go to the Holdings and MARC Records section, you can disable Maintain WorldCat Holdings for a particular collection.
Under Metadata => Collection Manager, uncheck "My Selected Collections" and search Provider and/or by Collection for these collections:
Taylor & Francis All eBooks [informaworld.tandfebooks]
Contact OCLC Support with the following message:
Please load my Taylor & Francis eBook titles.
My Taylor & Francis CRN is CRN96960.
My OCLC symbol is RIU.
2. Check if the load was successful
Log into WorldShare Collection Manager here: https://riu.share.worldcat.org/wms/
Under Metadata => Collection Manager, go to Scope: Activity History and look at the history for Elsevier or Search for Collection
Taylor & Francis All eBooks [informaworld.tandfebooks]
You will see in the "Updated" column when the collection was last updated and in the "Selections" column how many titles are selected.
