OAP Statistics and Documentation

The Open Access Policy will be tracked through productivity and usage statistics. We will keep all reports and documentation on the shared server.

OAP Productivity

• Monthly report of total OA articles posted (JL)

  • breakdown by departmental series

• Monthly report of number of requests for articles sent to URI faculty (JL)

• Annual number of AAFs received (JL)

• Ongoing waiver statistics report (AJR)

• Harvesting (if we harvest in the future from other repositories, how many articles from which repository by month and/or annually)

OAP Article Usage Statistics (kept by JL)

• Total downloads of OAP articles (annual, with monthly or quarterly breakdown)

• Total downloads of OAP articles by departmental series (allowing us to report annually on downloads by department)

• Discoverability (where does traffic come from, e.g. Google? Is it possible to track this for OAP articles as a subset)
