To identify articles published by URI faculty during a recent time period, it can be helpful to search reference databases and publisher platforms by author affiliation.
Most platforms allow for limiting by date.
On most sites, it is possible to create an account with your email address. You may then set up an alert so that each time a new article is added to the database that matches your search criteria, you will be notified.
Below are three categories:
1) Databases to search
2) Publisher platforms with a lot of journals, worth searching
3) Subject repositories that might have harvestable versions of author final manuscripts.
1) Databases to search:
Weekly or Monthly:
Aquatic Science and Fisheries Abstracts
Library/Information Science & Technology Abstracts with Full Text
SciFinder Scholar [this one is not working atm - JL 12/8/17]
Web of Science -- Search by "Organization-Enhanced" field and use the index to find "University of Rhode Island." Note that if you set up an email alert, it can be delivered as a tagged text file which can be imported into Endnote (Online or Desktop) and, with a little massaging, into a spreadsheet. If a search strategy has been saved, it can be run across the last 4 weeks in WoS data load and saved as a tab-delimited file which can be opened in Excel. See http://www.screencast.com/t/fnaer73l0.
Quarterly or Semiannually:
MLA International Bibliography
