Alma will connect to Springer Nature and automatically update subscriber entitlements in Alma on a monthly basis using KBART Automation.
Note: This does not include Nature content at this point in time, 9/23/2019 ajr.
1. Get token from Springer Nature
Log into Springer Admin Portal at https://adminportal.springer.com/
Select the tab "Title Lists"
Copy the Institution token ID for Ex Libris Alma.

2. Activate appropriate collections in Alma CZ.

[If there are portfolios in the KB collection, do NOT activate them. Check "Activate this electronic collection service" and check "Make service available" but do NOT check "Automatically activate new portfolios." Choose Manual activation.]
3. Configure Alma-Springer integration
Alma Configuration => General => External Systems => Integration Profiles
Add Integration Profile
Integration Type: Upload Electronic Holdings
Provider: Springer
Description: For KBART Automation of journals and books with Springer Nature
Next
Select the Active radio button.
Institution token id: [add number above from Springer Nature]
File format: KBART
Schedule: On the 25 of every month at 07:00
Save and Run Now
4. Check to see that job ran successfully
General Configuration => Configuration Menu => External Systems => Integration Profiles
SPRINGER: Actions => Job History
To view original KBART file that Alma processed
General Configuration => Configuration Menu => External Systems => Integration Profiles
SPRINGER: Actions => Job History
Locate latest job on list and choose "View" from right-hand menu.
Click to download "Serial input file" and "Monograph input file" in xls format.
