Suppressed Bibs for Holding PO Line

Suppressed bibs can be created for holding PO Lines when appropriate.

Example:

To suppress a bib or holding record:

Open record in the MD Editor

Tools => Set Management Tags => Suppress from Discovery

File => Save and Release Record

Note that Alma does not require a bib to hold a PO Line. So, you can "Order Without Inventory" to create a POL with no inventory.

You can also delete inventory, holdings, and bib and the POL will remain.

It will be searchable under "Order lines". Populate or edit the "Description" tab of the POL to facilitate searching.
