What does being a First-Generation College Graduate mean to you?
Being a First-Generation College Student means, having the ability to take risks, stepping out of our comfort zones, and achieving something that we've never seen any of our family do before and making them proud!
What is your proudest moment from your time at UCSD?
My proudest moment from my time at UCSD, has been being part of the Triton Transfer Hub. As a Transfer Peer Coach, I had the opportunity of supporting other Transfer Students like myself navigate life at UCSD.
Who are the family members, friends or loved ones who have been most influential throughout your college journey? Are there any words of gratitude you would like to share with them?
This degree would’ve never been possible without the sacrifices my parents have made. Esto es para ustedes! #LatinaAndWinning
What do you plan or hope to do after graduating?
After graduating, I hope to start an internship in a non-profit organization that supports children and families who are seeking asylum.
