• What does being a First-Generation College Graduate mean to you?

It is an honor and a blessing to be in the position that I'm in, being the first in my family to attain a higher education means that my family's efforts and sacrifices have paid off.

• What is your proudest moment from your time at UCSD?

Getting my first software related job at the Cardiac Mechanics Research Group lab on campus.

• Who are the family members, friends or loved ones who have been most influential throughout your college journey? Are there any words of gratitude you would like to share with them?

I'm a member of a scholarship group managed by the TGR Foundation, and the staff there has looked after me for the past 6 years, before college started and throughout my undergrad experience, without them I couldn't have made it this far.

Also, unequivocally, the unrelenting support from my parents.

• What do you plan or hope to do after graduating?

Work in the industry, return to school for an MBA, go into the business world.

Es un honor y una bendición ser la primera persona y mi familia para terminar la universidad y significa que todos los esfuerzos y sacrificios que ha hecho mi familia valieron la pena.

• ¿Cual es el momento de mayor orgullo durante tu tiempo en UCSD?

Lograr mi primero empleo relacionado con el desarrollo de software en el laboratorio del “Cardiac Mechanics Research Group Lab” aquí en el campus.

• ¿Quiénes son los miembros de tu familia, amigos o seres queridos que han sido más influyentes a lo largo de tu carrera universitaria? ¿Hay algunas palabras de agradecimiento que deseas compartir con ellos?

Soy miembro de un grupo de becarios apoyados por la fundación TGR y su equipo me ha ayudado durante los últimos seis años, antes de empezar la universidad y durante toda mi carrera. No podría haber logrado esto sin ellos. Y, sobre todo, el apoyo incondicional de mis papas.

• ¿Qué planeas o esperas hacer después de graduarte?

Trabar en la industria relacionada con mi carrera, regresar a estudiar una maestría de negocios, y después trabar en el mundo de los negocios.
