What does being a First-Generation College Graduate mean to you?
It means that anything is possible. When people come together they can accomplish anything. I did not reach this milestone on my own, and I believe it is crucial to recognize and acknowledge that. I am the product of the countless individuals who made this possible for me.
What is your proudest moment from your time at UCSD?
Participating in the UCDC program. Living in Washington, D.C. and interning for U.S. Senator Kamala D. Harris is my proudest accomplishment/moment during my time at UCSD.
Who are the family members, friends or loved ones who have been most influential throughout your college journey? Are there any words of gratitude you would like to share with them?
My mother and friends. I love you guys!

Dr. Cheryl Anderson, Dr. Dennis Trinidad, Dr. Carolyn Kurle, Professor Amy Forrest, Professor Camille Campion, Belinda Zamacona, Karen Van Ness, Zoumas, Professor Christine Zoumas. I would like them to know that I am eternally grateful that our life paths crossed and I was able to be uplifted, encouraged, and inspired by them.
What do you plan or hope to do after graduating?
Work, and gain professional experience. I want to solidify my desire to attend graduate school.
