  • What does being a First-Generation College Graduate mean to you?

Being a First-Gen college graduate means that I am setting a blueprint for future generations to follow and demonstrating that there are opportunities to be seized no matter where you come from or how you were brought up.


  • What is your proudest moment from your time at UCSD?

My proudest moment at UCSD was the first time I earned a 4.0 GPA that made me realize I was capable of doing what I set out to do if I apply myself.


  • Who are the family members, friends or loved ones who have been most influential throughout your college journey? Are there any words of gratitude you would like to share with them?

My parents have been the most influential throughout my college career, they have always been my number one fans and I know they will continue to be throughout my life. My parents teachings and life lessons have gotten me this far and is the reason why I will continue to progress in any ambition I decide to go through with in my future. My parents are my foundation and everything that I am today is because of them, I owe everything to them and I will continue to show them how grateful I am of their unconditional love and support through my career.


  • Who are the staff, faculty or mentors who have been most influential throughout your college journey? Are there any words of gratitude you would like to share with them?

All of my professors at UCSD have played a role in shaping my perspective on education and have enlightened me on the medical career I want to set forth upon.


  • What do you plan or hope to do after graduating?

I plan on pursuing a career in the medical field whether that be through nursing or as a PA.
