• What does being a First-Generation College Graduate mean to you?

It means that I am finally going to reach the goals I set for myself from a very young age.

• What is your proudest moment from your time at UCSD?

My proudest moment from my time at UCSD was filing for graduation, because this solidified the fact that I am about to complete my bachelors degree and be the first in my family to do so.

• Who are the family members, friends or loved ones who have been most influential throughout your college journey? Are there any words of gratitude you would like to share with them?

Thank you to the late Coach Jeffrey Clayton, you saw something in me and pushed me to become the person I am today.

• Who are the staff, faculty or mentors who have been most influential throughout your college journey? Are there any words of gratitude you would like to share with them?

Thank you to my success coach for the guidance and support they have given me these past four years.

• What do you plan or hope to do after graduating?

After graduating I plan on continuing my education at California Baptist University in their Biomedical Sciences graduate program.
