What does being a First-Generation College Graduate mean to you?
To me it means that I can be a role model to my younger siblings and show them that they too can go to college. It also means that the hardships that my parents went through paid off to give me a better future.
What is your proudest moment from your time at UCSD?
I was proud when I became a workshop facilitator and was able to help other students succeed in their classes!
Who are the family members, friends or loved ones who have been most influential throughout your college journey? Are there any words of gratitude you would like to share with them?
Friends: Aysia Saadiq, Matthew Nobuhara, Diego Tocol, Richard Lee, Chris Kwok, Christina Orozco, Richard Taguba, Daniel Alemu, and countless others!
Family: Rosalia Diaz, Luis Diaz, Juan Diaz, Diana Diaz, Karina Diaz and my entire extended family

What do you plan or hope to do after graduating?
Long term wise I plan to find a job in either a data science or software engineering position
